I woke up to the rain.
It's grey and dim, as if the sommer has never been here.
Pretty busy two days, today and tomorrow, saturday I'm off to Berlin.
Some days ago I started reading Zadie Smith's "White teeth" - I love stories of immigrants. Reminds me a lot of Hanif Kureishi's "Buddha of Suburbia".

"If religion is the opiate of the people, tradition is an even more sinister analgesic simply because it rarely appears sinister."
Finally I got in touch with Fran again. I missed him a lot the last months. Some people are meant to be a part of our lives. And they can't be replaced with anything or anybody, and they can't just be pushed down in some corner of our subconscience.
